Mr. Julien Conrad on his eleven-month birthday, also his grandpa Conrad's 60th!

"how big is Julien?"
So big.

J reading himself a story before bedtime, a rare occurrence.

St. Patric's day 2011, and apparently Daniel's first time drinking green beer. We all got gussied up for the holiday and no one endured pinches.

A new culinary discovery: fruit leather.

A wonderful Seattle weekend, down at the Pike Place Market reminiscing about the old days and showing Julien our old haunts.

Pike Place grocer, getting supplies fort dinner and, of course, squeaky cheese.

Uncle Dan sure has a small head.

Our little baby is growing up.

Playing tug-of-war with Virtue cat.

It's turning into spring in Portland and we get to take advantage of sunny walks to the park (...finally). Julien had a good time swinging and playing peek-a-boo with mom. He seemed to think it was just hilarious.

This is his scrunched up smiley face when he's really happy.

Mom was arranging flowers for our dear friends Kim and Erico's wedding, Julien was helping out.

Another guitar lesson from grandpa Conrad. Watch out Django.

Hamming it up for the camera at the wedding.

Neked!

Grandpa Conrad's surprise 60th birthday party, and what a surprise it was! Julien got to meet my aunt (his great-aunt?) Tubby, playing the guitar, and my uncle Norm, playing the sax. And lots of other friends and relatives.
Check out the three youngest cousins playing in the middle of the room, Julien-11 months, Gavin-20 months, and Devon-8 months (cute red hat).

Cousin Gavin being adorable.

Uncle Koeby, aunt Caelin and cousin Bjorn.

Julien Conrad and grandpa Conrad. He's always happy when he has a fist full of food, Julien that is.

Conrad with all his grand-kids (thus far...) In front is Bjorn, and then in line from the left is Bodhi, Gavin, Karan, Julien, Fiona, and Devon. We needs some girls in there to balance things out!
