I missed putting this in the last post, so here it is. Julien took his first fishing trip in August!! He didn't catch anything but I blame it on the time of year. We took a trip to the Clackamas river, east of Portland, and had a lovely time. Julien is excited to learn from the real master fisherman, cousin Karan.
Oh my, mom (ashamedly) loves the exersaucer, but only because Julien does. My question is, why must they be so ugly?!

....Getting a little frustrated with mom for not letting him.
We made it to the Oregon State Fair in Salem. Daniel was enthusiastic about it having many favorable memories of the Texas State Fair growing up. Here he was making friends.
He had to get a "cornie-dog", did they name it after him? (ha!)
At the fair Daniel indulged in an eating challenge, he called it "stunt eating". He decided to pick something that seemed impossible (it might have been) but at least it wasn't deep-fried chocolate covered bacon. He got the "fried Dr. Pepper". He ate it and he DIDN'T get sick.
