We can swim any day in November.

Oh my goodness little Julien, look how far we've come...

I have to admit I am so proud that we have made it six whole months and Julien is healthy and happy. He is growing so fast, and as he gets bigger the time goes faster, what a crazy phenomenon. Last week Julien and I went swimming for the first time. He LOVED it. He really enjoys the water, just like his mother.

J's newest achievement: sitting by himself. He still topples over sometimes (hence the soft surface) but he has gotten pretty good at balancing for long stretched of time, then sometimes he'll just fall completely backwards...a little nerve-wracking.

Donning his comfy pajamas for these cold November nights. Daniel calls it his "cloud" I call it his angle outfit. Grandma Holly gave it to us (him) and he absolutely loves sleeping in it.

Six months old means he can start solids! His first food was avocado. He was so fascinated by the new texture and flavor. Intrigued to say the least but I don't expect this boy to give up his love for milk any time soon.

Getting messy.

Mom prepping his first avocado.

J's first Halloween, guess what he was? Thanks for the inspirational and warm hat Grandma Lynda.

My little pumpkin.

I thought I would throw some Samba pics in here since she seems to be in the shadow of little Julien these days...we are loving our afternoon walks to the park, it's gorgeous around Portland right now.

Squirrel!

Our handsome little fellow.

Playing peek-a-boo.
