Well, it's been a while...we got busy with the holidays and such, so here's the latest from late November through the end of the year.
Thanksgiving was in Ashland this year, and a full crowd it was. I believe there were 14 adults and two babies. It was fantastic as always, great food good conversation and a warm fire.
Here are Julien and his younger cousin Devon, who is 3 months younger to the day.

Julien hanging out with grandpa Conrad, they were kind of matching that day I think they called each other and planned it.

Grandpa giving Julien his first guitar lesson, it's never too early...

Thanksgiving day.

Julien's first experience in a high chair (I believe) at Grand Central Baking co., where we ate lunch while Dan and Rina were visiting. The experience was relatively successful.

Point of comparison, November 8th, 6 months old.

On the eighths, December 8th, 7 months old!

Winter has arrived in Portland. Julien's loyal dog protecting him on a walk to the park.

I find it so interesting that sometimes all he needs is the most common house hold object and it will keep him entertained for a while. He's also a big fan of egg cartons and cardboard boxes.

Making footprint ornaments before Christmas. Julien was such a good sport about it.

Wearing daddy's hat.

All bundled up braving the cold in order to get out of the house on a walk.

Donning a fuzzy bunny suit from auntie Andrea. It's finally cold enough to wear it.

Julien opening a Christmas present...I think he was a little excited about the tissue paper and bow.

Somebody's happy to be wearing a Santa hat.

Our Christmas family photo.

Christmas eve at grandma Lynda's in Texas.

Julien with his wonderful grandma who made his first Christmas the most amazing first Christmas ever.

Grandpa Stuart, Julien and grandma Lynda.

Julien chillin' out with dad and his friend since childhood, Jason Lawrence. I think he's trying to look cool and fit in with the big guys.

So precious, Julien got to meet and spend the day with his great-grandma Mimi (Neva Meyers).

Christmas morning. Getting ready for present opening.

Julien loves his Grandma.

Strolling down the strip near Daniel's Alma Mater in Austin, with G Tony and aunt Andrea.

Yum...Kerby Lane...

New year's eve with Julien in bed, Kimary, Daniel and I could not make it to midnight. But we did manage to enjoy a cheese fondue course with chocolate fondue for dessert.
so fun! thanks for sharing the holiday photos. was that the best new year's pic we got - none of those self-timer champagne toast shots worked out? i guess it's hard to show an evening of good friends, food, and heartfelt conversation in a photo. to the best year yet!!
