BIG BROTHER (!)

10-month-old Julien!













Oh wow, do we have big news! Julien is going to be a big brother come mid-September. We are overjoyed. We feel very blessed to welcome another child into our family and that Julien gets to have a sibling. We must be doing something right. Obviously Julien will be too young to know the difference, not having a sibling. I can't wait to see him learn to interact with his brother or sister. He is going to be such a sweet big brother! We are going to have a whole big family soon, oh my goodness.

So far everything in the pregnancy looks great. Physically I'm feeling much better, being done with the first trimester. I can't tell if my exhaustion has to do with the pregnancy or the baby waking up at ridiculous hours...or both.





This is Julien's new trick, I say "where's your tongue" and he shows us. He can also show us where his head, belly and nose are. He does better showing where a nose is on someone else, he likes pointing at mine.









Bath time with daddy. I know one day Julien will be embarrassed if I show these pictures to anyone (least of all post on the internet) but they are censored.










Another new thing: standing. Julien took numerous steps the other day, like or 10 in a row, by himself. He likes walking between Daniel and I and diving into our laps once he gets to one of us. He is on the move. His "crawl" is still in need of aesthetic improvement, he does a funny army crawl with his left arm tucked under him. But, he can get across a room if her really wants to. Although he would much rather walk holding one of our hands.

Now I don't know if Julien is still pretty small being only 10-months-old (although he seems so big now) or we have one large cat. I think it's the later of the two.
